Animal MKIII G-Sport Gland MKIII Front Hub Review

Here we have my "G-Sport Gland MKIII" hubguard, and my "Animal MKIII" peg, kinda creepy how i just noticed they share the same name but are from different companies. Anywho i'd say this hubguard has the biggest diameter out of any hubguard, and being made out of polymer its very light. I ride mine w/ 3 zip ties, & never had a problem, although i know rob rode it as a rear hubguard which takes way more abuse and he was goin through zip ties. But for front use, its perfect. it comes w/ plenty of extra zip ties aswell, this hubguard was out before i had the chance to buy the vandero 2 hubguard, but even if it was out at that hime i would still get this one, becuase ive slammed and grinded ontop of metal hubguards, this will never happen to this hubguard because its attached to the spokes, so you can grind as sloppy as u like. As for the Animal MKIII peg, its one of the oldest parts on my bike along w/ my front hub & headset bearings. It's made of 4140 heat-treated chromoly that has been CNC machined and internally butted, but I only recomend this peg for front use although, because it tends to cave in at the edges from feebles. I've had this peg for 3 years now & i make sure to rotate it, and im heavy on front peg use, smithing non waxed ledges, toothpic hangovers, up rails, hopover to double pegs, i slam on this peg. It has 3 or so small cracks but i just make sure not to have those parts of the peg facing down when tightening my wheel. I plan to use this peg for another 3 years. It's super strong, and light as fuck. Most reccomended front peg in my opinion
