on the top and bottom you can see the indents for cables and guides |
there was a time i was working on bikes with gears heavily. i never did mind flipping my bmx bike but after working at a bike shop for so long i was tired and not used to working on the floor anymore.
i wanted that pro shit. for home use. pro at home. so i picked up one of these bad boys.
if i did not get it for the shops cost i would have gone with a cheaper model. however
the clamp pictured above is worth every fucking penny. if you ride and work on bikes, any kind, bmx, mountain, road, fix, whatever the fuck you do that clamp makes a world of difference.
the shop i was at had the same clamp on some huge stands but that clamp is park tools top of the line clamp. makes life so much easier. i use it at a bike stand at home even when not working on my bike its so easy to get in and out.
will not fuck up your paint or cables.
the base is sturdy enough for whatever you have to do, gears brakes, changing tires anything. having this stand to work with makes every job a hell of a lot easier.
worth every penny i give this stand a 10 out of 10 exactaly what i expected, fully adjustable and fucking rad.
if you read this and are still unsure let me know i will answer any specific questions you have
one mod thats not pictured is to wrap some duct tape around the rubber ends on the base tubes to prevent the ruber pieces from slipping off.
