Greeting fellow earthlings.
I'm Tom and now I'm here as well at the head of voltron. I'll be here to fill in the gaps Rob misses w/ his narrow-minded 4 peg street mentality. Yes I'm mostly anti-park as Rob, but I think that may be because we live in NYC were there is a strict policy of nothing bigger than 3 ft in a skate park. Although this rule has been tweaked w/ the 1 ft addition ledge on top of the euro bank in Maloof skate park, and how the 3 ft quarter in L.E.S. skate park momentarily gains an extra foot of vert due to the down ledge on the 5 set there since the quarter exists on the opposite side of the ledge. One vert skate park we had was the old Rockaway park which of course was under used, and under maintained. That place had so much rust if you happened to fall u might catch tetanus or some other fucking disease in that shady ass area. Ofcourse this was the only skate park which was destroyed by hurricane sandy. Only vert park in NYC which still exists is the Bay Ridge/Owl's Head/Millenium/Hoodward whatever you wanna call it skatepark. Only problem is it is located at the bottom of brooklyn miles from everywhere else. Getting there is a mission and once there that park consists 100% of vert with 0% street. Street riders find the vert strange/weird/hard/unsatisfying as they have no experience in it, making that skate park not as popular as it would be if it were located in Cali so to say. This is my opinion as to why Rob and everybody else in NYC are street as fuck and have to invest in hub guards, bullet proof tires, and yes all 4 pegs. -Tom
P.S. expect some upcoming documentaries from me covering legendary people in our lives.
