wake up and smell some fresh bullshit. the subrosa combat lock
subrosa has a new product out right now. danscomp is distributing it for 20$
1.5mm cable is meant for quick trips into a bodega. you would have more security putting a big stick in the spokes of your front wheel. you can get a cable lock that looks more secure for 5$. this is a sad attempt from subrosa to get $ and not even fuck bitches. this is why i do not run any subrosa parts on my bike.
the one on the left is more secure and cheaper. and the one on the right is going to be about the same weight and more then half the price
purchasing the combat lock does not support the industry. buying and riding bike parts supports the industry. buying this piece of shit just makes you a dumbass.

You are obviously retarded and ignorant as fuck. First off, the cable is a 1.5mm cable which is thicker than any cable lock on the market. Also this lock was designed and reinforced by bmx dudes who know what the fuck they are doing and spent many many many hours drafting, sampling, testing and straight beating these things with a hammer to insure they were superior to anything ever done before. Unless your packing a pair off bolt cutters up your asshole, which you may, your not taking a bike locked up with one of these. Next saying that this doesnt support the industry shows how ignorant you are. Did you know Subrosa pays their riders? Sends them on trips? Offers their team incentives to help grow the brand and the industry to support rider owned companies. Subrosa pays their in house employees and provide health insurance. Bet you think Primo is cool dont you. I can tell from watching how shitty your videos are that you are just a dumb fuck kid with no insight to whats actually going on, like seriously, do you think adding the words opp in a caption makes your shitty foothigh grind anymore significant? And who the fuck films your shit? Someone with Parkinson's disease? What the fuck? Instead of focusing your energy on hating on some real cool dudes who are having fun, why dont you open up your third eye and realize talking shit gets you know where.
ReplyDeleteAnd you would post a link to a Amazon product. They support the BMX industry so much. You know Amazon pays their riders and sends them on trips. Oh wait.... What....
ReplyDeletei gues i misread somewhere so i will change it to a 1.5mm cable, big deal
ReplyDeletestill can get through it with park tool wire cutters, or any brand. also leathermans can get through that easily.
i worked at shops plenty to cut enough locks to know what they can take
dont need bolt cutters, wire cutters dude. its a cable lock, a thin little cable lock, can easily do with a leatherman or any cable cutters.
i know subrosa pays them and does all that shit but in bmx riders need parts to ride not locks to ride.
then dont watch my edits dude, i culd spin your last line back onto your own words, mad hypocritical right there to talk shit on us for having fun
your proli some sales rep from subrosa, instead of trying to talk so much shit like that try and help them develop some good parts
Your really missing the point of this lock. Nobody wants to ride with a bulky lock so having one of these is a life saver when your out solo crusin or maybe when you and and a homie are filming a line you can lock up your bag so it doesnt get snatched while your focusing on the clip. Yeah it can be cut but at least you elminated any non cutter wielding crack smoke from grabbing your ride while your grabbing an icy beverage!
DeleteYour right, bmx riders do not need locks to ride but companies venturing outside of standard parts and accessories is a great way to help produce products that work with our lifestyle! Also a great way to help make some extra cash and put it back into the sport by putting on jams or sponsoring events. Its also just fun. Animal Dice?
I apologize for the harsh words on the riding, just get bummed when I see people blindly hating on products for the benefit of content for a web blog. I bet youve never seen a combat lock in person and if you had one youd be stoked!
Just enjoy the small things! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ae1KnJ-EfzY
