odyssey vandero 2 front hub review

s my "Odyssey Vandero II" front hub, i got it in white, and did a barber pole type design on it so u trip when you look down at ur front hub while you ride. This is one has the original logo on it, now it says "ODSY" on it instead, anywho... ive had this hub for 3 years now, and this odyssey rim is the second rim ive laced it to, i bent the shit out of my origional macneil dub rim i had laced to it, it wasnt the rims fault though, it was my riding style. Very satisfied w/ this hub, ive never greased or cleaned it since i bought it because for some reason the cones wont budge, and i dont feel like scratching the paint on them by using a set of pliers or something to remove them. The hub shell is made of 2014-t6 forged aluminum w/ 7075-t6 aluminum cones, while a 17mm 7075-t6 aluminum helicoiled center axel. The 3/8 axel bolts are the same as the ones on the G-Sport Marmoset hub, the vandero hub for a female hub has the second largest center axel at 17mm, second to the marmo hub at 20mm. Reason i got the ody hub is cuz its nice and slim, & i feel ill never break this hub even w/ my heavy front peg slamming specially on steep inclined uprails, so i feel the marmo is a bit o.d. the reason it looks soo much fatter then this hub isn't due to its axel which is only 3mm fatter then the ody 1, but due to it's bottom bracket sized bearings, which i feel are a bit o.d. aswell, but i still have a g-sport rear hub, because i feel you need that streng in the back. This hub is definitely my hub of choice, although the tree hub looks quite interesting, w/ the straight pull spokes, its price is astronomical.
