plastic but durable, i favor these peddles cuz they feel wider then most, but these are durable, i put wood screws in and that set lasted me for months, i took out the bearings and put in skateboard bushlings, tried for some homaid jcpcs, worked out ok for awile but the bushlings shit out. i got another pair and they have been good to me since, i will put screws in them soon and post up photos but these are my favorite plastic peddle
